The Ju 52\/3m with a 19 meters length and wing area 110m2<\/sup>, was operated by the German Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport aircraft, medium bomber, could carry goods weighing two tons or 18 soldiers.
\nThe Junker 52 in 17 variations, was the main transport aircraft of the Germans during WW II.<\/p>\n

The Ju52 was used for dropping paratroopers in the Battle of Crete in 1941 , the first major paratroopers enterprise in history, and in the battle for the conquest of Leros in 1943.<\/p>\n
