Junkers Ju52 In the autumn of 2008 a diving expedition was under-way in the island of Kea. This expedition was related to the shipwreck of S/S Burdigala. Within the frame of the operation a significant discovery took place. A side scans sonar detected trace of an airplane close to the search field.Το ναυάγιο στο οποίο γίνεται η αναφορά είναι το Junkers 52 το οποίο βυθίστηκε στην Τζιά. Υποβρύχιο μουσείο του 2ου Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου, ένα από τα πιο καλοδιατηρημένα αεροπορικά ναυάγια στην Ελλάδα.

Heinz-Georg Wilhelm Migeodwas born on 24 February 1918 in Stettin and passed away on 18 November 2010 in Somerset West, South Africa at the age of 92. These interviews took place at Dr Migeod’s house on 31 May 2010 in Somerset West South Africa. Dr Heinz Migeod was a Luftwaffe Stuka pilot who saw service in France, BOB, Balkans, Crete and Africa. Bearer of the German Cross in Gold, Ehrenpokal, Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class; Flying Clasp in Gold and others awards. He belonged to Sturzkampfgeschwader 3. Video 1 Video 2
